4.1: The elect are a definite, worldwide multitude
From Sovereign Grace and the Scope of Election: A Comparative Examination of Attainment Theology and Grace Theology, with Particular Attention to the Question of Whether God's Elect Are Found Among All Nations and Religions
Scripture describes the redeemed not as a single denomination's membership roll but as "a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues" (Revelation 7:9). Christ's blood "redeemed us to God... out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation" (Revelation 5:9). Jesus declared, "Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold" (John 10:16). Election runs along no ecclesiastical, national, or cultural boundary line.
